Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

FRIDAY

• 7:52 a.m.: Megan Cavanaugh, 20, of Carson City was arrested in the 3700 block of Woodside Drive on a charge of DUI. Bail: $1,137.

• 10:45 a.m.: Veronica Thistle, 48, of Carson City was arrested in the 1100 block of East Fifth Street on a Carson felony burglary warrant. Bail: $5,000.

• 11:08 a.m.: Ryan Williams, 27, was arrested at the Carson City Jail after being transported from Douglas County on a felony trafficking warrant. Bail: $40,000.

• 4:47 p.m.: James Howlett, 38, of Carson City was arrested in the 1800 block of North Edmonds Drive on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Bail: $2,500.

• 9:13 p.m.: Jesse Silis-Teran, 25, of Carson City was arrested in the 2700 block of Sherman Lane on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and on a Carson misdemeanor contempt-of-court warrant. Bail: $3,500.

• 9:24 p.m.: A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested at Stewart and Fifth streets on a violation of a suspended sentence warrant and a failure-to-comply warrant. Bail: $1,550.

• 9:25 p.m.: Christine Miller, 33, of Carson City was arrested in the 1000 block of East Second Street on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance, a gross misdemeanor charge of possession of a prescription drug without a prescription and misdemeanor charges of DUI second offense and license plate lamp required. Bail: $7,567.

• 11:30 p.m.: A 29-year-old Stagecoach man was arrested at the Carson City Jail after being transported from the Washoe County Jail on a misdemeanor Carson violation-of-a-suspended-sentence warrant. Bail: $3,000.

• 11:50 p.m.: Alexander Hooton, 22, of Carson City was arrested at Pine Lane and Hot Springs Road on a felony charge of preventing or dissuading a witness from reporting a crime and misdemeanor charges of assault, threats, disorderly conduct, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $8,955.

SATURDAY

• 12:57 a.m.: A 24-year-old Dayton man was arrested at Fifth Street and Harbin Avenue on a Reno misdemeanor failure-to-appear traffic warrant. Bail: $340.

• 10:30 a.m.: A 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 900 block of William Street on a misdemeanor charge of violation of a restraining order. Bail: $1,137.

• 12:42 p.m.: Tamatha Oliver, 41, of Carson City was arrested in the 1600 block of Long Street on misdemeanor charges of DUI and driving on a suspended or revoked license. Bail: $1,500.

• 2:37 p.m.: A 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested at David and Peter streets on a Carson misdemeanor failure-to-appear warrant and on a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $1,632.

• 5:45 p.m.: A 52-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 500 block of Carson Street on a misdemeanor charge of petit larceny. Bail: $250.

• 9:38 p.m.: Brandon Wilson, 39, was arrested at John and Plaza streets on a felony charge of battery on an officer and misdemeanor charges of obstructing and resisting with violence. Bail: $30,000.

• 11:31 p.m.: A 20-year-old Dayton woman was arrested in the 3000 block of North Roop Street on a misdemeanor charge of violating conditions of alternative sentencing. Bail: $3,000.

SUNDAY

• 12:52 a.m.: Julia Garcia, 30, of Pollock Pines, Calif., was arrested at Carson and Fifth streets on misdemeanor charges of DUI and speeding 48 mph in a 25 mph zone. Bail: $1,356

• 12:53 a.m.: Joey Garcia, 27, of Carson City was arrested in the 300 block of North Carson Street on a felony charge of soliciting to purchase marijuana and a misdemeanor charge of threats. Bail: $10,637.

• 1 a.m.: A 22-year-old Reno man was arrested in the 300 block of North Carson Street on a charge of disorderly conduct. Bail: $347.

• 3:12 a.m.: A 30-year-old South Lake Tahoe woman was arrested in the 100 block of Telegraph Street on two misdemeanor contempt warrants. Bail: $1,555.

• 6:52 a.m.: A 43-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at Woodside Drive and Monte Rosa streets on misdemeanor charges of driving on a license revoked or suspended for DUI and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Bail: $2,274.

• 9:25 a.m.: A 59-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 1800 block of Fall Street on a misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence warrant. Bail: $3,000.

• 1:40 p.m.: A 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested at South Edmonds and Fairview drives on a misdemeanor contempt-of-court warrant. Bail: $247.

• 3:29 p.m.: A 22-year-old Reno woman was arrested at Clear Creek Avenue on two misdemeanor warrants. Bail: $6,000.

• 9:05 p.m.: A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 1800 block of Maison Way on a misdemeanor contempt-of-court warrant. Bail: $500.

MONDAY

• 4:37 a.m.: A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 500 block of Carson Street on a misdemeanor charge of arrest of probationer. Bail: $3,000.

• 6:08 a.m.: Jerry Cisneros, 26, of Carson City was arrested in the 200 block of Adams Street on a felony charge of battery domestic violence strangulation. Bail: $15,000.

Storey County

The following people were booked into the Storey County Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

FRIDAY

• Matthew Elms, 23, of Virginia City Highlands was arrested on a felony charge of carrying a concealed weapon and misdemeanor charges of contributing to the neglect or delinquency of a minor and trespassing. Bail: $3,329.

• Daniel Lee Ghiglieri-Cormany, 37, of Virginia City was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of DUI. Bail: $1,137.

• A 22-year-old Dayton man was arrested on misdemeanor charges of contributing to the neglect or delinquency of a minor and trespassing. Bail: $829.

• A 20-year-old Sparks man was arrested on a Storey County misdemeanor warrant. Bail: $887.

SATURDAY

• Bradley Coons, 24, of Mound House was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of DUI. Bail: $1,137.

SUNDAY

• Allen Struhar, 61, of Dayton was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of DUI. Bail: $1,137.
