Craig Wesner has been promoted to chief executive officer of Lumos & Associates, an engineering, planning and construction administration firm headquartered at Carson City.
Randall Long has been promoted to chief operating officer of the company, Thomas Young has been named principal of the Lumos & Associates office in Reno and Michael Bennett has been promoted to principal of the firm's Carson City office.
Wesner, a professional engineer, previously served since 1999 as principal of the Reno location.
He succeeds Chas Macquarie, a professional engineer who had been CEO of Lumos & Associates since 1999. He will continue to work in business development of the company as well as creation of trails in Nevada and northern Nevada.
Long, a professional engineer with 18 years experience, previously was principal of the Reno office.
Young, who will transfer to the Reno office from the Carson City office, where he was named principal in 2007, has worked for Lumos since 1994. He is a professional engineer.
Bennett, a professional engineer, joined the firm in 1995. He held positions ranging from laboratory technician to engineering manager before his promotion.
Long, Young and Bennett all joined Lumos while they were engineering students at the University of Nevada, Reno.
