Lois G. Flanders, 88, of Carson City passed away February 4, 2012 at her home. Lois was born June 5, 1923 in Los Angeles, CA. were she and her husband Pat lived for 65 years. They moved to Carson City in 1989 where she lived for the past 23 years. Her husband of 61 years Patrick Flanders passed away in 2008.
Although Lois has passed, there are many who won't forget her. Lois and Pat were members of the Elks Lodge first in Los Angeles then in Carson City for over 42 years. She was a member of the DOE's in LA and member of Carson City Emblem Club #507. She will be missed dearly by her son: William, two daughters: Trisha and Susan, granddaughter Julie and her husband Jerry and grandson Nicholas. Lois was the only child of the late Hoot Gibson, whose movie career started in 1910 until he passed in 1962.
A graveside inurnment service will be held at Lone Mountain Cemetery on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is trusted with the arrangements. 775-882-2644
