Dona Townsend has joined Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital as chief nursing officer.
Townsend has more than 14 years of administrative and leadership experience in nursing. She comes from Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, N.M., where she was chief nursing officer. She also has held management positions at hospitals in Colorado and Alaska.
Townsend has earned a master's degree in business administration with an emphasis in healthcare and a bachelor's degree in nursing.
