New videos promote area's communities

A series of promotional videos produced by the Elko County Economic Diversification Authority has been a critical success, says ECEDA Executive Director Pam Borda.

THS Visuals of Stateline produced four two-minute videos of the four main communities in Elko County Elko, Carlin, Wells and West Wendover as well as a six-minute video that gives an overview of the state's largest county. The videos were designed to promote the region to site selectors without them incurring travel expenses, Borda says.

"They are going over really well," she says. "We are getting rave reviews."

The package cost less than $25,000 to produce, Borda says, and filmmakers were in the area for about a week and a half.
