Employee buys Alpenglow

Brendan Madigan, a longtime employee of Alpenglow Sports in Tahoe City, has purchased the firm from its owner, Donald Fyfe.

Fyfe owned the outdoor-equipment retailer for 32 years.

Madigan has worked for the firm since 2003.
