Noel Bonderson has been hired as principal environmental scientist in the Reno office of AMEC.

Bonderson, who has worked more than 35 years in air quality, waste management and environmental planning positions, most recently worked at the Washoe Health District in Reno as an air quality supervisor with responsibilities for permitting and compliance.

He also has worked in California as waste management director at Amador County and air pollution control officer for Placer County.

Bonderson graduated from California State University, Fresno with a bachelor's degree in biology and earned a master's degree in environmental planning from California State University, Chico.
