Suzi Puryear, Laura Harsh and Cara Caldwell have been named nurse navigators at Saint Mary's Center for Cancer. All three are registered nurses.

Puryear, who will work primarily with patients recently diagnosed with gastrointestinal and lung cancer, has about 10 years of oncology experience.

She is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno Orvis School of Nursing.

Harsh, a nurse for nine years and Saint Mary's infusion nurse practitioner, will focus on the delivery of care to patients receiving chemotherapy.

She earned a master's degree in nursing form Holy Names University in Oakland, Calif.

Caldwell, who has spent eight years of her 18-year nursing career in oncology, will work primarily with breast-cancer patients.

She earned a master's degree in nursing education from the University of Nevada, Reno Orvis School of Nursing.
