Chamber seeks to boost member-to-member sales

The Humboldt County Chamber of Commerce has launched a member-to-member discount program as a no-cost marketing tool for its members.

Participating business sign up a year at a time, and offer a discount or special promotion that runs at least six months. The discount must be unique to members of the Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber supports the initiative with details about participants and their discounts on the chamber Web site and provides point-of-sale marketing material that participating businesses can use in their stores.
