NCET organizing activities for eMonth

Nevada's Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, a nonprofit, is assembling a calendar of Entrepreneur Month activities scheduled during September.

During eMonth, organizations ranging from large firms to nonprofits schedule events that include open houses, brown bag lunches, seminars, and meet-and-greets.

Some companies use eMonth events as promotional opportunities, says Dave Archer, the top executive of NCET. Other organizations, including nonprofits, schedule educational opportunities for small business owners and entrepreneurs.

NCET promotes each eMonth event in emails, on Web sites, and in the material sent to media outlets throughout the region.
