James Robertson has been named president and chief executive officer of Reno-based GameTech International.
Robertson, previously vice president and general counsel of GameTech, succeeds Scott H. Shackelton, who resigned last week as the company's interim president.
Robertson earned a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Colorado, a master's in business from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a law degree from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law.
Before joining GameTech, he worked in the legal departments of First Data Corporation and International Game Technology.
