Pauline E. Thies was born Sept. 10, 1927 in Modesto, CA. to Paul & Ethelwyn White. Pauline attended Modesto Schools before attending San Jose State College where she received a degree in Education. After teaching in California she taught for Carson City School District until her retirement in 1994.
Pauline married Ernest Thies in Sacramento, CA Feb. 11, 1966. Ernie preceded her in death as well as her parents and two sisters. Pauline is survived by her daughter Heather Frost of Las Vegas; brother John Earl White of New Castle, CA., two grandchildren, two nieces, & two nephews.
Pauline did an excellent job in her years of service as an educator. Many are the young people who were touched by her personal interest, guidance and teaching. She will be greatly missed by friends, family, & colleagues.
In Remembrance Donations can be made to the local animal shelter of Carson City.
