Theodora (Tedie) A. Lee (Bednarek) passed from this life on Oct. 26, 2012 with her family at her side at Carson Tahoe Medical Center from complications due to a long fight with cancer. Born in Chicago, Ill. Jan. 5th 1947 the first of three daughters born to Theodore and Frances Bednarek, attended George Washington High in Chicago, Ill. and was captain
of the 1963-64 State Championship Women's Basketball Team. After graduation she entered into The United States Air Force as a medic during the Vietnam era. That enlistment led to her finding her husband and partner in life Harold G. Jr. Tedie loved her job with Nevada Department of Education as an Accountability Officer. Her crowning achievements were her home and her family.
Survived by her husband of 47 years, Harold G. Lee Jr of Dayton, Nev.; daughter, Whitney (Jim) of Willits, Calif.;
son, Greg (Loretta) of St. Croix USVI; grandchildren, Nolan and Trevor Lawson of Willits, Calif. and Miss Barrett A. Lee of Minden, Nev. Mother, Frances Bednarek of Glenn, Mich.; sisters, Jan (Jim) Rimkus of Glenn, Mich. and Becky (Allan MD) Russcher of Fenville, Mich. She was predeceased by her father, Theodore J. Bednareck in 1991.
No services are planned per Tedie's request. The family would like to thank her co-workers at Nevada Department
