The parent company of NevCal Trucking is nearing completion of a satellite facility in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center to serve a key client, Randa Corp.
Ed Meyer, president of Sparks-based Fundis Trucking, said the company expects to base 10 to 15 trucks at the facility. They'll handle outbound shipments of finished products and inbound shipments of raw materials.
Randa is a manufacturer and distributor of fashion accessories such as belts, wallets and bags.
Meyer said NevCal Trucking expects to be operating from the new facility by the end of the year following installation of a petroleum-fueling center.
