Obituary: Diana Savickas

Diana Savickas, 84 of Wake Forest, formerly of Carson City, passed away Friday morning, October 5, 2012 at William M. Dunlap Center for Caring. Mrs. Savickas was born in Lithuania to the late Jozas Kramilius & Antose Grybinas. She was a member of Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church; was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 O’clock, Tuesday morning, October 9, 2012 at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Mrs. Savickas is survived by her daughters, Ritamarie Savickas-Lanson & husband Jim of Wake Forest, NC, Lynda Valdes & husband Joaquin of Palmdale, CA and Joan Bauman & husband Jimmy of Dayton, NV; grandchildren, Agnes Lanson of Wake Forest, NC, Kristen Evans of Las Vegas, NV, Victoria Valdes of Palmdale, CA, Robert Beasom, Michael Beasom & Danielle Beasom all of Carson City, NV and Angie Beasom of Wake Forest, NC; cousin, Father John Petravicius of Alberta, Canada as well as family in Lithuania. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Savickas. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Of Living Stones, 520 West Holding Avenue, Wake Forest, NC 27587. Friends may visit with the family from 6-8:00P.M., Monday evening October 8, 2012 with a vigil service to be held at 7:30 P.M. at Bright Funeral home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest.
