Stacey Spain has been appointed as executive director of the Sierra Arts Foundation.
Spain served as the interim executive director during the past year and has more than 17 years experience working with Nevada arts and culture organizations.
Spain worked at KUNR as the membership director and joined Sierra Arts in 1999 working as their program director until 2002. After tenures at the Nevada Arts Council and the City of Reno she returned to Sierra Arts in 2010.
Spain received a bachelor's of arts degree in theater from Boise State University, and a master's degree in theater from Purdue University.
