Cintas Corportation's distribution center in Reno earned Star certification from the Voluntary Protection Program, the highest recognition for safe workplace practices awarded by the Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Cintas,based in Cincinnati, says its Reno facility is the first of nine company-owned distribution facilities in North America to earn the honor. The 40-person staff in Reno began the Voluntary Protection Program about a year ago.
