New administrator named at The Lodge

Cher Haack has been named administrator at The Lodge Assisted Living and Memory Care Community in Carson City. She replaces Karen Perry, who is relocating to Arizona.

Haack has been the wellness coordinator at The Lodge for more than two years. She has extensive experience working with elders in Carson City and Carson Valley. She worked at the Carson Valley Residential Care Center in Gardnerville for many years and has worked as a private in-home caregiver.

“Caring for elders brings me great joy,” she said. “I truly want to make a difference in their lives and help them maintain their independence and dignity.”

The native Californian has lived in Nevada for more than a dozen years. Haack enjoys camping, canoeing and riding her Harley-Davidson.
