Carson City Road Report: April 29 – May 5

The following information applies to the period of April 29 – May 5:

• There will be road work on Long Street between Roop Street and Molly Drive. No delays are expected.

• There will be intermittent lane closures on Fairview Drive from Edmonds Drive to Carson Street beginning today and continuing into the week due to roadway maintenance. There will also be intermittent lane closures on Longview Way from Ash Canyon Road to Kings Canyon Road. Minimal delays are expected.

• Utility work will begin next week on the following roads. There will be flagger controlled traffic with minor delays possible.

Hot Springs Road between Carson Street and Roop Street.

Fairview Drive from Highway 50 to Fifth Street.

Valley Street from Fourth Street to William Street.

William Street from Valley Street to Fall Street.

Fall Street from William Street to Adams Street.

Adams Street from Fall Street to Stewart Street.

Stewart Street from Adams Street to Roop Street.

Roop Street from Stewart Street to Winnie Lane.

Winnie Lane from Roop Street to Carson Street.

Carson Street from Winnie Lane to Arrowhead Drive.

• Due to continued construction of the Carson City Freeway project, Snyder Avenue is closed between E. Roland Street and Center Drive. Center Drive and Silver Sage Drive also are closed south of Appion Way. Bennett Avenue is closed between Center Drive and Bigelow Drive. Detours will be marked.
