Brokers, projects honored during Summit Awards

Fred Altman of Bettergreen Building was honored with the Dermody Properties Philanthropic Award during the annual Summit Awards program in Reno.

The awards sponsored by three commercial real estate groups — the northern Nevada chapters of CCIM, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and Commercial Real Estate Women — recognize top commercial brokers and spotlight some of the largest transactions.

This year’s winners included:

Andy Tourin of First Centennial Title, Katie Morrison CREW Ambassador of the Year.

Tom Miller of Miller Industrial Properties, industrial broker of the year.

Tim Ruffin of Colliers International, office broker of the year.

Kelly Bland of NAI Alliance, retail broker of the year.

Mark Krueger of ArchCrest Commercial Partners, land broker of the year.

Andie Wilson of Coldwell Banker Commercial Premier Brokers, generalist broker of the year.

Kenneth Blomsterberg of Marcus & Millichap, investment and apartment broker of the year.

Michael Nevis, Michael Hoeck, David Simonsen and Dan Oster of NAI Alliance, largest single lease transaction of the year.

Eric Bennett, Dan Buhrmann and Gordon Zack of CBRE, largest single sales transaction of the year.

Carol Martin of Dermody Properties, Extra Mile Award.

Blomsterberg, broker of the year overall.

Commercial real estate projects that were honored included the Urban Outfitters distribution center built by United Construction as industrial development of the year, South Creek Development built by McKenzie Construction as retail development of the year and Carson Medical Group built by Shaheen Beauchamp as office development of the year.
