Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for Aug. 1. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:
Carl’s Jr./Green Burrito, 1315 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.
Starbucks Coffee, 2320 S. Carson St., 100 points.
Carson HorseShoe Club, 402 N. Carson St., 98 points. Shell eggs were found on the top shelf of the walk-in refrigerator. Lemons at the server station were placed on drinks with bare hands.
El Charro Avitia, 4389 S. Carson St., 96 points. Improper cooling procedures for large pots of hot foods were observed, corrected on site. An expired carton of milk was found in the reach-in at the service station. Lettuce was found stored under cooked meats in the walk-in. The ice scoop storage container at the main ice machine was not clean inside, corrected on site.
