The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada will hold its annual kids auction and luau fundraiser from 3 to 7 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Pony Express Pavilion at Mills Park.
Former Carson City mayor Marv Teixeira will be featured along with original board members of the club. There will be live and silent auctions and a raffle for a trip to Hawaii and a 2012 Toyota Tacoma.
Tickets cost $100 per person and include a barbecue dinner, cocktails, dessert and entertainment. Tables of 10 can be purchased for $1,000.
