Update: Power restored to customers without power in Carson City

Update: According to NV Energy power was restored to all residents at 5:45 p.m.

At least 128 customers in Carson City have been without power since for more than three hours, according to NV Energy.

The main outage is affecting Modoc Street, Desatoya Drive, Minonee Lane and Woodside Drive, said NV Energy senior spokesman Karl Walquist. It was reported at 1:38 p.m. Scattered small outages were reported in Carson City, Gardnerville and Minden, he said.

“We have people in the field trying to determine the cause” of the outage, Walquist said, adding that it’s unknown when power will be restored.
