A Man Trap. That fire cistern at the intersection of Telegraph and Ormsby streets between the rear corner of the Adams House and Moore and Parker’s Hall was in such a condition yesterday with its vast recesses that an indefinite number of stray and missing Indian children may be in there. So many have gotten water from there that the cover no longer fits because of an ice dam surrounding it. This man trap should be abated.

When the news of the fire in Candelaria was received, the office of the True Fissure was reported burned. Mr. Dormer says the office is all right and the paper will be out as usual next week. As long as the newspaper of a town is intact, the municipal heart, lungs, brains and liver are all right and the patient will pull through.

Nevada Sugar Company has completed a season’s work by piling up 25,000 bags of sugar, 800 tons of molasses and 4,500 tons of pulp. The value is said to be $135,000. Ask your grocer for Nevada sugar.

Carson Hot Springs was the setting for a farewell buffet and party to honor Carson City’s first graduating class of aviation students from the Pathfinder Flying Service Detachment No. 50.
