Cheers & Kudos: Club delivered bags to homebound seniors

The homebound seniors of Douglas County, Young At Heart Senior Citizens Club, and Douglas County Senior Center would like to thank the Douglas High School Key Club for again helping to deliver Christmas gift bags to Douglas County’s stay-at-home seniors. These gifts were highly appreciated, since many of the seniors are confined to their homes, live by themselves and cannot drive an automobile. In some cases they were the only Christmas gifts which they would receive. The friendly greetings, given by the Key Club members when they delivered the gifts, were warmly accepted by the recipients of the gift bags.

Thanks again, Douglas High School Key Club, for helping to bring some Christmas joy to our local home-bound seniors.

Numerous businesses and people aided son

The Baxter family would like to express its heartfelt thanks to the amazingly generous people of the Carson Valley and Lake Tahoe area for donating, supporting, and coming to our son Steven Jacobo’s fundraiser. Not only were we able to raise over $8,000, but Great Basin Physical Therapy and Bodywise Physical Therapy have both generously donated their services to help Steven get back on his feet. There are no words to express how grateful the family is for this life changing donation. If we have forgotten to thank anyone, please know that we are grateful for all that was given.
