EMC Metals Corp. of Reno said last week it reached an out-of-court settlement with Jervois Mining Ltd., an Australian mining company, in litigation over a scandium project in the eastern Australian state of New South Wales.
The deal gives EMC total control of the project.
EMC will pay Jervois $2.6 million (Australian) in cash to settle the litigation. Jervois also maintains a royalty in the scandium prospect.
