Potash America Inc., an exploration-stage mining company headquartered in Reno, posted a loss of $1 million in the fourth quarter. This compares with a loss of $388,000 in the comparable quarter a year earlier, the company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company, which owns potential mining properties in Newfoundland, has yet to generate any revenue. Its auditors raise doubts about the company's ability to stay in business unless it raises fresh capital.
