Sharon Nipp has been hired as development director for United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra.
Nipp previously served as a development associate and grant writer for the Committee to Aid Abused Women. She also served as development director for HAWC Inc. Community Health.
Nipp earned her bachelor's degree in education and her master's degree inpublic administration from the University of Michigan, Flint.
