Open auditions set for 'The Taming of the Shrew'

Proscenium Players will hold open auditions for their May production of Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew" at 6 p.m. Thursday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Silver State Charter School Performing Arts Center, 900 Mallory Road.

The production will be directed by Jeff Fast and done in the original Shakespearean language and style.

Actors must be 16 or older. Performances will be held at the Brewery Arts Center on May 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26.
