Margaret was the only daughter and the sixth child born to Charles and Paroda Fulton in Elkhead, Colorado. She and her brothers grew up as a ranching family in Hayden, Colorado. She attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins where she met the love of her life, Robert Williams. Following his graduation from the school of veterinary medicine they settled in Caldwell, Idaho where Bob went into partnership in Williams Animal Hospital and practiced for twenty-two years.

Margaret, lover of people, animals and all the wonders of nature, had an amazing zest for life. She enjoyed dancing, golfing, swimming, water skiing, horseback riding and travel. Quieter activities included bridge, reading and cooking. There was always space at her bountiful table for someone who dropped by and time to deliver food to those in need.

Although Margaret worked in banking institutions in Idaho and Oregon, at a food processing lab, and with the Employment Security in Elko, Nevada, she always felt her most beloved and important job was raising her four children. She was a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader, Sunday School teacher, member of the parent teacher association; and chauffeur for many organized sports and activities. The doors to her home swung open to young people and the walls sheltered innumerable pets.

She cherished her friends and gathered many through her fifty-three year membership in P.E.O., a philanthropic educational organization for women. She was a member of Chapter AU and G, Idaho and N, Carson City, Nevada. She held each of the chapter offices. Margaret also served as a hospital volunteer and was a regular blood donor.

She is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and husband. She is survived by her children Olivia Lodato, Robert/Jake Williams (Suzanne), Sam Williams (Gayla), Bonnie Gallagher (Tom), eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held March 9, 9:00 a.m. at the Silver Oak Golf Course, 1251 Country Club Dr., Carson City. Her family wishes to thank Circle of Life Hospice and all the compassionate caregivers, angels on earth. Margaret asked in lieu of flowers that you make a donation to your favorite charity. Her favorite was Cottey College, 1000 W. Austin, Nevada, MO 64772. A second celebration of life will be held in Caldwell, Idaho, May 4, where her remains will be laid to rest next to her husband.
