Devang Desai, M.D., and Frank P. Carrea, M.D., have joined the cardiology group at Saint Mary's Center for Health.
Desai studied at the University of Michigan and medical school at Kuvempu University in Davangere, India. He later completed residency in internal medicine at Wayne State University and was a chief cardiology fellow at St. John Hospital and Medical Center, both in Detroit.
Carrea earned his undergraduate degree at State University of New York in Albany, and his medical degree from State University of New York in Syracuse. He completed both a medical internship and residency in internal medicine at Harvard Medical School and New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston, Mass. He pursued a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver.
