Physician offices honored

Ten physician office practices in the Reno-Sparks area have won the 2012 HealthInsight Quality Award awarded by the Las Vegas-based nonprofit to medical offices that have adopted health-information systems, use care-management systems and achieve exemplary performance related to diabetes, cancer screening and immunizations.

Recognized were Silver Sage Center for Family Medicine in Reno, the Renown Medical Group offices at Vista, Summit Ridge, Los Altos, Northwest, South Meadows and Fernley; Renown Medical Group Premier Care; Renown Medical Group Senior Health and Renown Medical Group endocrinology.
