Carson City road work for July 15-21

The following applies to Monday through July 21:

There will be road closures on Fairview Drive during the night hours of 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. today through Friday due to maintenance. The closures will be at locations throughout the project limits, from Carson Street to just east of Edmonds Drive, and detours will be signed.

Due to continued construction of the Carson City Freeway project, the following road closures are in effect:

Snyder Avenue between East Roland Street and Center Drive.

Center Drive and Silver Sage Drive south of Appion Way.

Bennett Avenue between Ponderosa and Bigelow drives.

Bigelow Drive has been permanently closed between Bennett Avenue and Roland Street, and there might be periods of temporary closures between Roland Street and Appion Way.

Frontage Road has been permanently closed from Arthur Street to just south of Snyder Avenue. Access will be maintained for businesses and residences.

There will be road work on Nye Lane between Northgate Lane and Hot Springs Road. No delays are expected.

There will be work on the south shoulder of U.S. Highway 50 East between Airport Road and Fairview Drive. No delays are expected.
