Obituary: David W. Phillips

On February 25,2013 David W. Phillips passed away peacefully at home. David was a gentle spirit in this world who has joined the love of his life, Aline M. Phillips. When he married Aline in November of 1965 he became a husband, father of five, and grandfather of two with one "I Do". David was a man with an excellent work ethic, and he retired from E/M Corporation as Manager of Metal Finishing. He was also well respected by his employees, whom he kept his office door open to. David was born December 6, 1931 to Harry L. and Ada J. Phillips. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Joyce, Marilyn, and brother, Lowell; daughter, Donna Mae (Blake). He is survived by his children, Dennis, Gerald, Diane Reddie and Sandi Fleck; his grandchildren: Scott I. (Renee) Sparks Jr. Sara E. (Jamin) Baxmeyer, Teresa A. (Patrick) Latronica, Rick (Sherri) Cole, Curtis A. (Cindy) Fleck ; his great-grandchildren: Samuel Sparks, Bradley and Jaden Baxmeyer, Amber and Kailee Latronica and Breana and Brody Cole. And his great-great-grandchildren: Izabella Mae and Ryder; his nephews: Don, Steven, Christopher and Daniel; his nieces: Dana, Darci, Kimberly, Maddilyn, Abigail and Gabrielle.

David loved his family very much, nothing made him happier than having his wife and children gather together. He was a kind man that will be greatly missed. We would like to thank Vista Care Hospice of Carson City for the incredible support. A special thanks to my special helpers; Mandee, Sara, Amy, and Danielle.
