Christ wants His followers to rebuke, not judge, sinners
Regarding Fran Tedesco’s March 1 letter, “Stop condemning, stop judging and be merciful,” Tedesco should have kept reading Luke 17:1-4: “And he said to his disciples, ‘It is impossible that scandals should not come; but woe to him through whom they come! It were better for him if a millstone were hung about his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. Take heed to yourselves. If thy brother sin, rebuke him; (assuming Tedesco knows the meaning of ‘rebuke’) and if he repents, forgive him. And if seven times in the day he sin against thee, and seven times in the day turn back to thee, saying, ‘I repent,’ forgive him.’”
Christ himself is telling His followers to “rebuke” sinners. That does not mean we are “condemning” or “judging” them. It means we recognize the sin and making them aware of the sin, hopefully, will lead them to do the right thing before it is too late!
This is not an act of hatred. Hatred comes from those who refuse to listen to God’s message and don’t want anyone else to remind them of same!
What part of this does Tedesco not understand?

Online gambling only lines gambling profiteers’ pockets
Online gambling. An unmitigated disaster for millions of Americans who will get hooked and who will lose billions of dollars. It will take money away from families, homes and necessities and put it into the pockets of gambling profiteers. I know, I’ve been there. I was addicted to gambling for years. No one wins.
