Cyanco Holding Corp. said last week it’s completed expansion of its sodium cyanide plant at Winnemucca.

The project boosted production of the Winnemucca facility to 93,000 metric tons a year. It’s part of a series of expansion projects that began in 2008 when the facility’s capacity was 39,000 metric tons annually.

Cyanco, a Houston company, serves customers throughout North America from the Winnemucca plant.

Its products are used mostly in the mining industry.
