RENO (AP) — The new boss of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport says she wants to take it to new heights.

Marily Mora was named Thursday as the new president and CEO of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority. She replaces Krys Bart, who is retiring after 14 years.

Mora was the second in command at the Reno authority for 12 years before she took a job as assistant director of aviation at Oakland International Airport in November 2011.

Mora says Bart has left the airport in tremendous financial shape and she hopes she can build on her success. She says she intends to work in close collaboration with local businesses, ski resorts, the University of Nevada, Reno, and the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority.
