Pizza Hut, 2441 N. Carson St., 99 points. The urinal in the men’s bathroom was plugged with water overflowing onto the floor and into the hallway.
Save Mart Supermarkets, meat department, 3325 U.S. Highway 50 E., 99 points. There was no sanitizer bucket set up to store wet wiping cloths, corrected on site.
Jimmy G’s Cigar Bar, 301 N. Carson St., 98 points. Areas inside the upper half of the main ice machine needed to be cleaned.
Just Brew It, 1214 N. Carson St., 98 points. Open junctures of the floors, walls and ceiling were not properly sealed.
Lifestream Health Foods, grocery, 101 Hot Springs Road, Suite 1A, 98 points. The bathroom sink was not draining properly. A child’s fork was stored on the rim of the bathroom sink. Unauthorized people were on the premise. A cross contamination violation was cited when a toddler and young child were observed handling and leaving packaged foods on the floor in the grocery area.
Save Mart Supermarkets, seafood department, 3325 U.S. Highway 50 E., 98 points. Knives were stored improperly between the wall and the counter top, corrected on site. There was no sanitizer bucket set up to store wet wiping cloths, and the sanitizer in the three compartment sink was below 200 parts per million, corrected on site.
