Egg catastrophe: A catastrophe occurred near the Plaza between Billy Wilson’s table and the old stone school house when a young gentlemen of exquisite taste and polish was being gallant between two young ladies. He was bringing home two dozen eggs in a paper, when a pet lamb took a sportive fancy to run between his knees. His hat, a stove pipe, tumbled over one side and while he made a grab at it, the other hand with the paper of eggs, got under his rear waist as he was falling ... and he sat plump on the delicate package.
