Mystery author to feature at the Nugget

Todd Borg, author of the Owen McKenna mystery thriller series, will talk at Leisure Hour Club’s meeting at 7:30 p.m. April 16 at the Carson Nugget. A buffet dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Borg has been named to Amazon’s mystery/thriller best-seller list multiple times. He received the Benjamin Franklin Award for best mystery book of the year for “Tahoe Silence.” His latest novel, “Tahoe Chase,” will be available this summer.

The Leisure Hour Club is Carson City’s oldest continuously operating social organization. It meets on the third Wednesday of the month, except for in June, July and August, at the Carson Nugget. It hosts speakers that shed light on important issues and topics such as science, music and literature.
