The second Reno Hackathon, a collaborative effort between Reno technology, entrepreneurial, business and higher education organizations, will run from noon April 12 until noon April 13 at the DeLaMare Library on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno.

This year’s event includes the Biggest Little City NASA Space Apps Competition. Cash prizes will be offered as well as a raffle for an Xbox One.

The Reno Hackathon event is presented by the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada and PC-Doctor, Inc., hosted by Microsoft and UNR. Michael Palermo, Microsoft technical evangelist, will be at the event in Reno.

The Biggest Little City NASA Space Apps competition will run concurrently at the DeLaMare Library. Reno has been selected by NASA as one of the 80 host cities around the world for the 2014 International Space Apps Challenge.
