Two dead in Dayton crash

The driver of the car involved in at two-car crash in Dayton shortly before noon Tuesday died Wednesday afternoon, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

Ana Laura Munoz, 18, the driver of a 2004 four-door black Audi that made a left turn onto Highway 50 from Ambrose Lane into the path of a semi truck, died of her injuries. Her passenger, David Lamas, of Dayton, died Tuesday at Renown Regional Medical Center.

Both victims were transported by Care Flight to the Reno hospital.

The driver of the truck was treated and released from the hospital.
