Wild horses have become so numerous on the plains that some of the stockmen in the vicinity of Cheyenne have organized a hunting party whose object will be to thin them out. The hunters are provided long range rifles, fleet ponies and supplies and forage for all winter. They will endeavor to make a clean job of it.

Two local women were among those receiving merit certificates for attainment of Stenotype speeds at the Institute of Stenotype in Sacramento. Claudia Anderson and Karen Cole were the winners.
