Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for Jan. 23. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

Carson Cupcakes, 1800 E. William St., Suite 7, scored 100 points.

Dotty’s, 3331 E. Highway 50, Suite 5, 100 points.

JM Gasoline, 1321 N. Carson St., 100 points.

Playa Azul, 415 E. William St., 100 points.

DK Logistics, 3130 N. Deer Run Road, 98 points. Large bags of bulk product were stored on the floor.

Taqueria Fuentes, 3391 U.S. Highway 50 E., 98 points. All foods stored in refrigerators and freezers were not labeled and dated. Bulk foods were not labeled. Self-hauled garbage was not properly covered by a tarp.

Arco AM PM, 1017 N. Carson St., 97 points. There was no certified food handler on duty.

Bamboo Garden, sushi bar, 3735 S. Carson St., 97 points. A non-commercial microwave and toaster oven were in service at the time of the inspection, repeat violation. The area behind the sushi refrigeration unit was dirty.

Viet Pho, 444 E. William St., Suite 6, 97 points. Various sauces were found without labels and date. Shell eggs were stored above raw beef, corrected on site.

Bamboo Garden, restaurant, 3735 S. Carson St., 85 points. One employee was drinking an uncovered beverage at his work station. Foods stored in the walk-in refrigerators and freezers were not properly dated and labeled. Bulk foods were not properly labeled. Walk-in refrigerator racks were unclean. Shelving near the storage area of the carry-out containers was dirty and sticky. Thermometers were not found in all refrigerators and freezes. The garbage-storage and waste-grease-storage containers were greasy on the outside. The floors under the cooking area near the back wall were greasy, and there was no proof of a certified food handler on duty.
