Along the walls of the great hall whose lofty sides are to be hung with beautiful works of art, hundreds of brilliants will be placed at Moore & Parker’s Hall. Upon the listening night will pour the richest melodies and the most entrancing notes that ever beguiled the somber hours into a habit of jocund mirth.

Sunny Acres (Children’s Home): John Aberasturi, Superintendent, gave a talk to the Kiwanis on Sunny Acres and said, “A home-like atmosphere is what we strive for in our operation.” The children are now housed and supervised under a “cottage plan” with eight to ten youngsters living in each house with a man and wife acting as foster parents. The large grey stone building that served as the home, school and office for the state children’s home was recently torn down.
