Cruise nights in Carson commence Thursday at Wyndham Gardens Carson Station, 900 S. Carson St., in advance of Silver Dollar Cruise Nights July 25-27 at Mills Park.
The shows are held Thursday evenings at different businesses.
“This year’s event allows people the chance to see new properties, like Buffalo Wild Wings,” said Joy Evans, the event’s manager.
Hosts are Buffalo Wild Wings on June 12; Wing Stop on June 19; Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill on June 26; Courtyard by Marriott on July 3; Carson Lanes on July 10; Concours Parts & Accessories on July 17; and Plaza Conference Center on July 24. A street dance with live music will be on July 25 at Carson Nugget.
The Thursday evening shows attract anywhere from 40-80 cars and are open to all makes and models. Music by a disc jockey is provided each week.
“Our car shows are popular. Events are the catalyst of the community. They get people out of the house to meet new people,” said Evans.
