The Saturday Morning 3rd & Curry St. Farmers Markets kick off Saturday with local and regional cheese, eggs, flowers, honey, beef and produce.
The market runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through Sept. 20 at the parking lot at Third and Curry streets.
This market season opens with more than a dozen Nevada vendors, including Beautiful Food Farm, Lattin Farms, Campie’s Lavender Patch, Workman Farms, Smith & Smith Farms, Hidden Valley Honey, Holley Family Farms, JT Ranch, Garden of Good Eatin’, Local Roots and Farm Under the Bridge, McNeil Highroad Farm and Sand Hill Dairy.
The number of vendors increases as more produce comes into season. Organic produce also is available.
Live acts perform at each market; Ricky D will perform blues, jazz and rock ‘n’ roll guitar at Saturday’s market and on Sept. 20. Other musicians scheduled are A Class Act on June 14 and Aug. 2; Joseph Greco on June 21 and July 19; CW & Mr. Spoons on June 28; Stan & Jo on July 5; Chris Bayer on July 12 and Aug. 23; Sherrie & Will Rose on July 26; Carolyn Dolan on Aug. 9; Barbara Baxter on Aug. 16; Acoustic Solution on Aug. 30; Mike Badinger on Sept. 6; and Hick’ry Switch on Sept. 13.
