Veterans enjoy flight

Aman Kahn, a resident at Emeritus at Reno, and three other military veterans who live in Emeritus Senior Living communities in Gardnerville and Reno took flight on Friday from Reno Stead Airport to mark the 70th anniversary of D-Day.

Aman Kahn, a resident at Emeritus at Reno, and three other military veterans who live in Emeritus Senior Living communities in Gardnerville and Reno took flight on Friday from Reno Stead Airport to mark the 70th anniversary of D-Day.

The flights were courtesy of the Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation, whose mission is to honor seniors and U.S. military veterans around the country. About 75 people came out to watch the flights and support the veterans.
