Caoutchouc, the hairless horse without a mane or anything growing out of its tail which a violinist could reconstruct his fiddlestick with, must be ridden bare back. This mightily curious beast will be on exhibition in Carson on Musser Street north of the Capitol. The fee charged to look at this bare-faced wonder is 25 cents.

Séance continued: “Miss Esther Hazard appeared. She was strong and came out into the room, walked about, spoke to and touched us. She took a chair and sat down. She wore a dark skirt made of silk and began to manipulate it with her hands. Suddenly the dark skirt disappeared and in its place was one of pure white. Once again the skirt was pure white and then black once more. The spirit was sitting close to us the whole time.” (Continued on Friday.)
