Bently Biofuels in Minden was acquired by SeQuential Pacific Biodiesel earlier this month.

The acquisition price was not disclosed, and SeQuential did not respond to requests for comment.

The Portland, Ore., biodiesel producer said it plans to maintain the sales and collection services that are currently offered by Bently.

“We believe strongly in the concept of community scale biodiesel production, where fuel is sourced, produced and sold within the same geographic region,” said Tyson Keever, SeQuential president, in a press release release. “We’ve been looking at ways to expand operations into California and Nevada for a while now but didn’t want to stray too far from that community-based model. This acquisition provides us with the infrastructure to replicate that model for the larger market.”

SeQuential operates two biofuel stations in Eugene, Ore.

Bently Enterprises, in a press release, said it sold its biofuels company to focus on key business interests, Bently Ranch Meats and Bently Heritage Estate Distillery in Minden.
